Supersalone has come to an end and we would like to thank you all for taking part in it, physically or digitally. Saba’s presence in Milan is not limited to the Design Week, we invite you to visit the set ups that will remain in the city for the following months. 

 

SUPERSALONE
In occasion of the Supersalone, Saba presented exclusively the new Gala seating system designed by Cristina Celestino. With a subtle reference to the retro-future atmosphere of sofas that inhabited the ‘70s, the collection explores the flexibility of the upholstered object with a sculptural and sophisticated volume, which lends itself to interpreting different visions of interiors, from residential to hospitality contexts.

 

SABA + ANTONIO MARRAS
The “Essere Speciale” textile designed exclusively by Antonio Marras for Saba and his Oltremare collection was presented in the occasion of Supersalone at his wonderful Nonostante Marras showroom. The design, that narrates of memory and contamination, is printed on fabric deriving from 100% recycled cotton. The installation will remain indefinitely.

SABA + LA DOUBLE J
La Double J has officially opened the doors of its first ever store in the heart of Milan. The brand’s flagship store, which has been transformed for Design Week into an other-worldly utopia, has presented a mesmerising Gala sofa in a golden yellow velvet in the sacred grotta. An inspiring and spiritual space where the double-sided sofa by Cristina Celestino will remain indefinitely and will host a series of events and talks in the near future.

TEATRO ARCIMBOLDI MILANO
The Teatro Arcimboldi Milano, during the Fuorisalone, welcomed the public in its most intimate and inaccessible places: the artists’ dressing rooms. The project involved seventeen Milanese architecture and design studios that “adopted” and renovated the dressing rooms. Caterina Steiner & Paolo Volpato Studio collaborate with Saba to design dressing room n.5.
